Fairbanks Light Opera Theatre, known locally as FLOT, has been providing quality musical theater in Fairbanks, Alaska for 43 years!
Fairbanks Light Opera Theatre promotes musical theatre shows of all kinds. Typically, we do two main stage shows a season. We have begun to experiment with a third show the last couple years; to include a dinner theater, kids shows, and collaborations with other theater groups are just a few new ventures.
Our very popular summer kids camps FLOT JR happens every June. This is a week long daily camp where kids are exposed to the break down of how we bring these shows to life. They learn music, dance, acting skills, set building, creative thinking and they perform a show on the last day of camp for their families.
